“Human resources isn’t a thing we do. It’s the thing that runs our business.”
(Steve Wynne)
The SPVS HR Foundations course equips you with the HR fundamentals every manager and director should understand when leading and managing people within a business. It is not a detailed course, rather to be used as a holistic overview of some of the key HR areas. It is a starting point with valuable substance, and an outline that can be followed when seeking further detailed knowledge. The course looks at processes, people responsibilities, job design, engagement and motivation, recruitment, retention, return to work, culture, and much more. It also highlights some good resources and signposts to expert individuals and businesses on the various topics.
