Starting Up: Legal mistakes commonly made and how to avoid them
In this session, Victoria will share how to avoid the mistakes she has helped clients overcome when starting up a new veterinary practice. She will discuss a wide range of legal considerations including getting the right premises for the practice; how to avoid inadvertently breaching employment law; key terms of commercial agreements to review or try to negotiate; and ensuring the ownership structure is in place at an early stage.
