Meeting the business challenges of farm vet practice
Farm vet practice has an exciting future yet meeting certain business challenges will be key for any individual practice to succeed. For instance, how do we meet the needs of a multi-million-pound turnover farm client at the same time as those of a smallholder client? How should our charging models, and work, be adapted to remain relevant and competitive? Apart from billing farmers directly, what other business opportunities exist for farm vet practice? In this session, dairy vet turned consultant, Owen, will explore those challenges, before looking at how a successful business model in farm practice might typically differ from companion animal practice.
