Cross Industry Collaboration: What we can learn from these relationships
Having both contributed to the recent Professional Standards Authority podcasts on collaboration, Lizzie and Simon are in a great position to share how to be involved in fruitful partnerships. They will talk through examples of collaborations they have been involved in – including Simon sitting on the RCVS Mandatory Practice Regulation Working Party – and discuss the benefits of engaging in projects outside your own profession. They will consider what made these alliances successful, plus what they might have done differently. They’ll then focus on how collaborating on antimicrobial stewardship offers great crossover potential between animal and human medicine to develop effective guidelines and improve patient outcomes.
