Business Excellence Awards Entry T&Cs
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before entering. By submitting your entry, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Eligibility: The Award is open to all veterinary practices.
2. Entry Submission: Entries must be complete, accurate, and submitted by the specified deadline. Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
3. Entry Rights: By submitting an entry, you grant the organisers of the Award the right to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your entry for the purposes of promoting the Award and its associated activities.
4. Originality and Ownership:
- You must be the original creator of the entry submitted, or you must have the necessary rights, permissions, or licenses to submit the entry.
- Entries must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
5. Judging and Selection: Entries will be judged by SPVS Board.
- The judges’ decisions are final and binding.
6. Prizes: The 4 category winners will win 3 tickets to SPVS Congress 2024, on Thursday 25th January at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole (3 team members per practice) plus overnight accommodation (1 single and 1 twin room), where an overall winner will be announced. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
7. Notification of Winners: Category winners will be notified by the organisers via the contact information provided at the time of entry.
- SPVS welcome submissions to be received by 5pm on 31st October 2023.
- Shortlisted practices will be notified by 5pm on 15th November 2023.
- Detailed statement/90 second video from shortlisted practices to be received by 5pm on 29th November 2023.
- Category winners to be announced by end of December 2023.Overall winner to be announced at SPVS Congress 2024 (25th – 27th January 2024).
8. Publicity: By entering the Award, you agree to participate in any publicity or promotional activities related to the Award if requested by the organisers.
9. Changes or Cancellation: The organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Award for any reason, including but not limited to insufficient entries, technical issues, or force majeure events.
10. Limitation of Liability: The organizers shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or expenses arising from your participation in the Award.
11. Privacy: The organisers will collect and process your personal information in accordance with the SPVS privacy policy. Your information will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Award.
