Eight Legal Ltd is co-owned and run by James Cronin BSc PDGL LLM & Kay Hamblin BVSc MSc MRCVS. James has been supporting the profession with employment law and other legal advice for over 20 years. Kay is a vet & also has an MSc in Business & Organisational Psychology and is a qualified workplace mediator. Our industry knowledge is second to none – no-one understands the specific challenges involved in managing a veterinary team better than us!
We provide employment law and HR support to independent vet practices on a retainer or ad hoc basis. Our advice is practical & down to earth with a focus on what your practice needs to thrive. James is also very experienced in advising practice owners and individual vets on a range of other legal issues, such as contractual disputes, restrictive covenants etc. Kay uses mediation to deal with workplace disagreements and help people rebuild positive working relationships. It’s a fast, cost-effective way of resolving conflict which can reduce employee turnover and improve engagement.
