The seminar will provide you with valuable insights into life in the profession, what to expect when you graduate, and how to succeed in your first few years.

Topics covered will include information on different job types within in the profession, how to apply for them, what to expect and how to succeed in them, building your resilience and improving your wellbeing, networks for new graduates, insights into business, personal financial management and the importance of communication.

Sample Programme

Lectures aside, the conference also provides a unique opportunity to meet and socialise with practising vets, students from other unis and leaders of the profession at the various social events including a course dinner and quiz night.  You might even meet your future boss!

The seminar only costs £99 thanks to generous support from all our non-commercial and commercial partners (the true cost is around £400) and it includes all your accommodation, meals, most drinks and the lectures.  Could be the best £99 you’ll spend at university!
